A Dublin-based bass teacher with a strong rock and metal background, but lessons designed for a broad range of students.
I have been obsessed with bass for decades, especially the way great players can turn the instrument into something powerful and impossible to ignore. My influences include Duff McKagan, Cliff Burton, Justin Chancellor, Troy Sanders, Pat Badger, and other players who brought real character to their bands. My teaching style is clear, structured, and tailored to the student in front of me. Some people want to start from zero. Some want to finally learn songs properly. Some want help with timing, technique, tone, or confidence. The goal is always the same: steady progress without unnecessary fluff. I am based in Skerries, Co. Dublin, and I teach bass guitar lessons across Fingal and the rest of Dublin, with online lessons available too. I also share my playing through YouTube and Spotify, and I hold a Grade 7 Advanced qualification in guitar performance from Victoria School of Music (and a degree in Computer Science from Trinity College).
